I have been here for 8 weeks now... time flies without me notices, really... was falling sick on week 7, but am recovering from it now, hmm... though not fully recover yet but felling much better than last week. Seems to be in pretty good mood this week, dont know why... but am HAPPY with the days ahead of me... excited? maybe not, cuz exams is up!!! No laptop at home, still, so am now in the Library to blog this piece.
Weather... huh... very cold d... i was shivering sometimes even while walking on the street. The first time experiencing this was in my room when i was doing my Criminal Evidence coursework over the nite. Karen was kind enough to lend me her laptop after she finished her coursework as i have my laptop broken down quite some time ago (THANKS OH*). I was afraid that her laptop may got over-heated if on for long period. I started my work that nite at 12 midnite. After 2 hours, i decided to make a change of position. So i put two books as the base, then place the laptop on top of the books, left my window opened, let the cold air in to cool down the laptop. I was sitting there over the nite! But ofcuz, i dint try to burn her laptop, so i actually turn it off after 3.5 hours, and then turn it on after 30mins. Then i found out something... the method that i used to try to cool the laptop down really works! Her laptop once got over-heated back home and since then the fan is running with pretty loud sound. That nite it was quite quiet while i was using it ler... phew...
I slept at 5am that morning, and got up at 9am. That's when i first felt the COLD even under my duvet! Gosh... what a special experience heh.. hahaa... hopefully i wont need repeat that for another time! But seriously, it's getting colder now. I can see the MOON at 5pm nowadays! Went to observe the skies at night twice with a mate from flat opposite too. I saw the Mars, Mercury, Pieces, Gemini, Seven Sisters and many many more... will update on this again after next observation k... hehe... lazy to type in details now cuz need to go for Evidence lectures later... A long day for every Wedn, have classes and seminars from 9am till 5pm. And hope i will see the moon again later... ie, meaning the sky is clear from CLOUDS!
