Christmas Eve Party
The first X'mas in UK... A group of 9 persons went to The M*** located in the Oxford City for X'mas Eve Party... It cost £5 per person... I dont usually go clubbing even back home, but for this time, especially when 2 of my frens came down from Bristol for a week holiday here... to our surprise, it was pretty bad for clubbing and not even count down for christmas also... sigh, those songs that they played was pretty bad... sigh... bad bad... first club that i went i UK... bad one... never again eh! Waste time and money nie...
Since none of us were satisfied with that eve party... the following X'mas nite, we party at home instead. Kenny provided vodka and coke... we played Chor Dai Dee and drink... haha... Sang 'K' (just singing along with songs... dun have mic here though), while some other (who was drunk) 'acted' some play with their true character while being drunk... scolding and yelling at each other etc... hahaa... it was pretty FUN, really... happy... So it is SET now that i would rather stay home than going out clubbing for any event now on... NO THANKS!
Eve's Birthday
I had planned to give her a surprise. As she said directly that she doesnt want a cake (since she never like sweet stuffs)... she said se wanted roast chicken instead... But birthday without cutting cake is NOT birthday yeah?! So i got her a CUTE cake from ** on the request of her bf too...
Matt, Karen, Keith, Kenny, Jason and me were here to celebrate for her. We sang her birthday song at 12am on 31/12 and gave her all the presents... then we had whisky with coke... it tasted so terrible and most of us dint like it.. I had to say nite to them at 2am as i had terrible headache after few shots of that whisky... aiksssssssss....
Keith being the chef of the day, cooked 7 dishes for Eve's birthday dinner. The standard was as good as rastaurant... we have advised him to open a restaurant or even a food stall in uk... he definitely gonna earn big money with that... hehee... after dinner, it was only 8pm. We still have cutting cake plan to go... I prepared the birthday song from Twins and played it on Kenny's pc, brought the cake out, through Matt, presented to Eve... i dunno if she got surprise by that... but tried my best d... hahaa... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Karen's Birthday
Thought I was running out of idea of planning 'surprises'... But i managed to do it for her... ideas came along while preparing for her party... Matt, Eve, Karen, Keith and me went down to City at 2.30pm... It was said to walk around in the city since WE have NOTHING to do at home though... but actually Keith and me supposed to do the grocery for tonight's dinner at **... After Argos, we separated into two group and did what as planned... hehee...
Both of us started preparing the minute when we reached home bout 5pm. Western grill was the main course. It took some time to marinate those meats though... I told Eve to bring Karen walking around the city or whatever they could do to delay the time to come home, as we need time to get those food ready b4 they came home... everything as planned, they had dinner in a pub, treated that a a normal dinner eating out... when they reach home, we have done all that we needed and all steaks (beef and pork) and roast chicken were ready but was kept in the oven. The kitchen was clean with no suspicion at all... she dint notice anything ofcourse! hehee...
As Keith is leaving back to Bristol on thr 2nd's early morning, so this Western style dinner supposed to be her birthday celebration... so we had to make it one that is on 2nd... so it was at 12am just now!! WOW... 12am to have steaks!!! heavy meal... but once a year... who really cares?! and shouldnt care anyway! :p
B4 the meal, we tried our very best to lock her in her room... Eve tied a ribbon from her door to the door opposite ... as we had predicted, she tried to came out from her room at 11.30pm... we thought it would spoilt the whole plan of 'surprises'... cuz she would probably suspected something going on out there... hahaa... As she was chatting with her bf thru webcam... we bumped into her room and sang her birthday song... there were roses, cake and present from her bf (thru us)... hehee... surprised her, really... good!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
Hmm... All celebrations were over now... A continuous two days of preparing and cooking... made us, Keith and Me really felt exhausted... fairly tired... but worth what we did!!
ONCE A YEAR ONLY what... I wont care even if dun get to sleep for 51hours! :p
